Thank you for reading and thank you for your work. I'd rather spend my 2 brushes somewhere else I like most parts of the gem mines, but some enemies are quite punishing. So in the end i'm not touching gem mines even with a long stick. Gem Mines are an instance in Roguebook that allows players to nab some great treasure but with a lot of risks they were added to Roguebook in the last big update of 2021. This is the first of several we have planned - hope you enjoy. Second, maybe lower entrance cost to one brush or place a mine somewhere near the shop but require you to find an entrance key sowhere on the current map. Gem Mines are an instance in Roguebook that allows players to nab some great treasure but with a lot of risks they were added to Roguebook in the last big updateof 2021. Check out the trailer here: VIEW TRAILER The Gem Mine update will be completely free for anyone who owns Roguebook. Gem Mine features new enemies, treasures, new maps, and more. I understand that you can cheese insane amout of damage with some cards, i myself did 1shot act 3 bosses with 600 bleed stacks, but this usually achieved with some really end game cards/gems and not in early act 2.ĪND you are punished with wounds, holy moly, is't it too much? taking a lot of damage is fine, you can work around it, but wounds are just too punishingĪnd on top of it you must spend 2 brushes to enter so you have to sacrifice you powerups and can't really prepare beforehand (especialy in ascension 15 when you only have 3 brushes)Īnyway timer should be adressed first, too many builds can't even get close to killing a trap in 3 turns. As revealed during Nacon Connect 2021, a free update, Gem Mine, is coming to the roguelike deckbuilder, Roguebook. Dealing 200+ hp damage in 3 turns is a bit ridiculous not to mention if trap can block You may want to reduce a card’s cost, add card draw or perhaps always start a battle with it a particular card in. I went in blind but lost to all 3 traps because of the timer. Even the cards in your deck can be modified thanks to Roguebook’s gem system. I had a very good run at ascension 15 with Sharra and Seifer, just entered Act 2 after demolishing first boss and found a mine. I kinda like the idea reflect damage and different mechanics like moving trap taking damage for switching places but 3 turn timer is just too low. Embrace the challenge of a roguelike deckbuilder with unique mechanics from the developers of Faeria and Richard Garfield, creator of Magic: The Gathering.
